Hello you. I was once part of a punk rock outfit called RAISE KAIN as a guitar player. In urgent need of a place to stay in Rotterdam I was invited to come live at David’s, on one simple condition: he wanted me to play bass in his little side project. The fact that I had never in my life played bass before didn’t matter, nor did he care much for the fact that I wasn’t exactly acquainted with alt. country music at the time. Nowadays – nearly four five years later – I’m quite comfy playing bass in EPTV, thank you very much! I’m also into certain black-and-white movies, reading Philip K. Dick novels, writing short stories (though not as much as I used to), recording music on the side & drinking pitch black coffee, all in no particular order. In another life I’d probably be working as a Private Dick. My CD-player is mostly equipped with Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Blue Mountain, Pedro the Lion, Nick Drake, Jayhawks, Erik Satie, Kyuss, Calexico, Bad Religion, Sad Riders and label buddies Johan, Spinvis & Moss. Currently learning to play piano and upright bass and trumpet (but still have a long way to go). Looking forward to meet you at our next show.
